I love this wine! Year after year, it’s a bargain superstar from the Rhone, composed of 100% Syrah. The 2017 maintains tradition. As summed up by critic Joe Czerwinski (Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate), the wine offers “hints of smoke, cracked pepper, blueberries and black olives. It's medium to full-bodied, with a long, supple finish. For the $20 (or less) I've seen it selling for, you're not going to find a better Syrah.” As I write, the wine is available from several sources, at sub-$13.
