Don’t waste too much time reading this; you need to get it NOW. Why? Read what Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate reviewer Erin Brooks had to say: “The 2020 Fundamental Cabernet Sauvignon has a medium to deep ruby color and scents of baked cherries, thyme, milk chocolate and potpourri. The palate is full-bodied yet light on its feet, with lots of refreshing acidity, an alluring, supple texture and long, perfumed finish.” She gave the wine a humongous 93-point score; higher than many other California cabs that cost six times as much. So, how much is it? I got in early and paid a tad under $16 per bottle, shipping included. Even at the retail price of $20 it’s still cheap. Wine Access – my source – was still selling it at $18 per bottle the last time I checked. The Wine Buyer was selling it for $15. Erin Brooks said the wine will last through 2024. My guess is it will still be good in 2026, with proper cellaring.
