A blend of 50% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot, and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, this is an excellent, medium-body red for everyday drinking. (Well, every evening, too, and at parties . . . you name it!) James Suckling liked it, awarding it 90 points. His review: “A juicy and fruity rosso with red berry, bark, dried herb and clay aromas. Medium-bodied with firm tannins. Structured with a bright core of fruit on the mid-palate and a compact finish. Drink or hold.” My guess: It should last for 3-4 years, but only if you don’t drink your supply before then! Available for $12 or less, especially as more arrives in the U.S.
